Truro Wedding Photographer

Hi Dan,

Georgina and Dan gorgeous Truro wedding at one of the best venues in the Truro area without a doubt, Nancarrow Farm.  I’ve been lucky enough over the years to photograph at Nancarrow Farm tons of times, so every time I get invited back is an honour! It also happens to be 20 minutes from my house which is a bit of a bonus!!

Nancarrow in summer is one of Cornwall’s most beautiful venues. Set in rolling countryside on a working farm, every corner you turn is beautiful. There are tons of gorgeous nooks and crannies, perfect for photos, which is part of the reason I love working there so much! What more could you ask for!

Georgina, Dan and all their family and friends got ready at Nancarrow. I managed to flit between the two of them in the morning as getting ready preparations began. Georgina was getting ready with all her bridesmaids, you could feel the buzz in the morning everyone was super excited for the day and this really shows in the photos, everyone is beaming from ear to ear.

Some of my favourite photos from the day were actually during the ceremony. It was an extremely cute ceremony stuffed full of emotion and amazing to document. In the rusty barn with both front and back doors open the wind was coming through which made for some amazing photographs of Georgina’s veil flying in the air mid ceremony, which was a perfect icebreaker had everyone in stitches of laughter! So so funny to document!

After the ceremony Georgina and Dan got pelted with confetti by all their guests. It was such a beautiful moment so funny. They then had their drinks reception in the courtyard outside the main oak barn was they were serenaded by a string quartet. Completely beautiful and amazing to listen to, perfect background music.

I snuck Georgina and Dan away for a few photos before they set down the food just that they had a few minutes alone. He can see just a much this couple love each other as it really shows in the photos. This is a got them away together they started to relax in each other’s company which is beautiful and made for some amazing photos as we took a walk around the venue.

There were some amazing speeches particularly from Dan, when you get to this section of the day, scan through all the faces along the top table as he is making a speech. Everyone is cracked up!

We were treated to the most gorgeous sunset walk. Sunsets are quite tricky here at Nancarrow owing to the whole farm being set w in the countryside, basically a valley. You have to be super watchful of the sun falling below the trees which happens hours before actual sunset hits you have to be careful to make sure you don’t miss it. This happens at lots of venues in Cornwall so is always something worth bearing in mind. But we managed it and I so happy for Georgina Dan be able to get these amazing photos for them.

Dancefloor was absolutely action packed from start to finish. Georgina and Dan did an amazing first dance with all their guests looking over them and then have the dancefloor flooded with other guests throwing some outrageous shapes!! Such a fun party!! I’m very lucky to have lots more weddings booked at Nancarrow this coming year, so I cannot wait to be a Truro wedding photographer again!
